Brian Plough & Stars

Four weeks into the Tour4ACure and so far to go!  Thank you all that have come to see a show, donated online or volunteered your time to the campaign.  This truly could not be done without the love and support of everyone that has participated thus far.  The above picture was taken this past weekend at The Plough & Stars in Cambridge, MA.  What an amazing room and incredible group of people to share an evening of music with.  I have to thank the Clippertones for playing such wonderful hosts!

Upcoming are a few events here in NYC before heading out to Baltimore, Nashville and Chicago!  Please keep your eye on the calendar and continue following the campaign on the various social media outlets so that we can maximize our opportunities to share music and good vibes with you!

See y’all tonight at Turtle Bay!

Shippin’ up to Boston!

April 16th, 2015

The Tour4ACure is well underway and ready to make our third stop up in Boston this coming weekend.  It has been such a wild ride to this point and I can’t wait to see what’s to come.  3 full weeks into the Man of The Year campaign the support has been absolutely overwhelming.  We are chipping away at our ultimate goal of $150,000 and hope you’ll participate in any way you can!

Thank you all so much for being by my side throughout everything.  I can’t wait to share more photos, memories, songs and hugs with everyone at home and on the road!

Going To California. . .

February 25th, 2015

Hello all!

Looking forward to gig #040 tonight at Mad River, the best Wednesday has to offer!  Immediately following tonight’s show I’ll be headed out to the west coast for a weekend of preparation for the #Tour4ACure.  If you or anyone you know will be in the neighborhood on Friday night, I’m playing at State Social House and would love to see you.

Between now and then, please keep checking back for updates regarding new happenings with The Turn and the Tour.  Dates will be confirmed and posted soon and I can’t thank you all enough for participating on any level and welcoming me into your hearts and ears.

Back To It!

February 3rd, 2015

Getting back to work at Turtle Bay tonight at 9PM!  After last week’s inclement weather I can’t wait to jump on stage and sing the night away with all you guys.

I’ll be doing a couple of different things for tonight’s show, including demoing a new for 2015 D’Angelico SS that they were kind enough to lend to me to be debuted at Red White & Tuesday.

The fun starts at 9PM, and any other details are available on the calendar!  Thank y’all so much for your ongoing support.  I’ll see you at the show.

Welcome To The Weekend!

New Year’s Eve Eve!

December 30th, 2014

New Year’s Eve Eve!

Thank you so much to everyone that has been a part of this past year. Tonight will be the final Red White & Tuesday at Turtle Bay of 2014.  52 Tuesdays strong and gig #313 of the year. If you’re in the neighborhood, come on by and shout out a song or two while we get geared up to ring in a new one!

Also, when you have a moment check out my new record with The Turn “Surrender To The Void” which is now streaming on Spotify.

Tomorrow, New Year’s Eve, we’ll be jamming at Mustang Sally’s from 9:30PM to ring in 2015 and would love to see you all there!

The show goes on.

Red, White & Turtle Bay Tuesday

December 23rd, 2014

Gig #309 is upon us.  I can’t wait to get out on stage tonight and share the second to last Tuesday with you.  I’ve been seeing on Facebook all day “It’s been a great year, thanks for being a part of it. . .” followed by a slide show type photo collage.  While mine has yet to be compiled,  I can only imagine what kind of shenanigans we’d be reminded of and I want to say personally, without any direct assistance from the social media Gods, thank you for making this year as amazing and memorable as it has been.

Since we’re in to the last week or so, here’s an itinerary of where you’ll be able to find me, and The Turn between tonight and the New Year’s Eve bash at Mustang Sally’s

Thursday, December 25th, 8PM – Jack Doyle’s on 35th St. btwn 7th and 8th Avenue

Saturday, December 27th, 4PM – Mad River on 3rd Ave & 82nd St.

Sunday, December 28th, 9PM – The Playwright Tavern on 49th St & 7th Ave

Tuesday, December 30th, 9PM – Turtle Bay on 2nd Ave btwn 52nd & 53rd St

Wednesday, December 31st, 9PM – Mustang Sally’s New Year’s Eve Extravaganza on 7th Ave and 28th St.  The 314th and final gig of 2014.  All of which have been utterly amazing, none of which I could have done without any of you.

See you at the show.

Wednesday Night Rocks! #305

December 17th, 2014

Tonight will be the final Hump Day rock show of 2014 at Mad River on 3rd and 82nd at 8:30PM.  We will be making one more appearance on the Upper East Side next Saturday the 27th, but if you want to get your mid week dose of #rocktheturn then absolutely come join us.

In the waning weeks of this year you can check here for all updates to the calendar and any upcoming festivities before we ring in a new year and start the gig counter all over again!  Thank you so very much for stopping by.  I’ll see you at the show!

Welcome friends old and new!

December 3rd, 2014

This is actually the first official post on the web site.  Thank you all so much for stopping by and for watching, listening, sharing, coming out to the show and then doing it all again with me on a near daily basis.  As I write, I’m en route to the 295th gig of 2014.  Crazy.

So here’s a couple of things that are coming up for the rest of this year and 2015.

  • More gigging, obviously.
  • I’m moving – and after the transition will be updating the site regularly with a  load of new content – from pictures and videos, to new installments of Afternoon Request Line (how do you like that for #tbt) to new tunes and some awesome collaborations on new projects
  • The 2015 Man of The Year Campaign with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and my associated Tour 4 A Cure

It’s going to be pretty wild and I so much appreciate having the opportunity to share it with all of you.  Keep checking back, watch for calendar updates for gigs in neighborhoods and cities near you, and enjoy the ride!
